Holster Selection and Placement: Learn the nuances of selecting the right holster for your firearm and discover optimal placement techniques for comfort, accessibility, and discretion.

Drawing Techniques: Master the art of the draw under various scenarios, including standing, sitting, and from confined spaces. Develop muscle memory for a quick and precise response when seconds matter.

Concealment Strategies: Explore advanced concealment methods tailored to different seasons, clothing styles, and environments. Discover how to effectively blend in without compromising your ability to access your firearm.

the hip, point shooting, effective close-quarters shooting, and maintaining situational
awareness.

Use of Cover vs. Concealment: Understand the differences between cover versus concealment. Learn how to properly utilize cover and concealment while working around a vehicle, within a home setting, and out in a public setting.

Multiple Target Transitioning: Participants will be trained to engage multiple threats efficiently. The course will cover target acquisition, target priority, sight alignment, accuracy and trigger control when transitioning between multiple targets.

Stress Inoculation Training: Simulate high-stress situations to acclimate yourself to the physiological and psychological responses associated with real-life encounters. Build resilience and sharpen your ability to think clearly under pressure.

Immediate Threat Assessment: After engaging a threat and ensuring it is neutralized, the shooter must immediately assess the condition of the initial threat. This includes observing the body language and any potential signs of continued threat (e.g., a weapon still in hand) to confirm that the threat has been effectively neutralized.

Scan for Additional Threats: Once the immediate threat is assessed, the shooter should begin scanning the area for additional threats. This involves a systematic visual sweep of the environment, focusing on potential hiding spots, cover, and areas where threats could emerge. This scan should be thorough and cover a full 360-degree field of view.

Dynamic Malfunction Clearing: Students will be taught how to identify and clear common handgun malfunctions quickly and safely under stress while operating a drill.
These are active malfunction clearing drills during a course of fire forcing a student to get the weapon operating again while maintaining the course of fire.
